Starwise Astrological Forecast
for October 2012(All specific times given are for Eastern Time)
We enter October two days after the Full Moon on the 29th.
Days of Month
2 – Venus’ last bit of emotional idealism in Leo harmoniously engages the grounded responsibility and commitment of Saturn in Libra, just before she moves into analytical, at times critical Virgo, until October 29th.
3 – Venus at the beginning of that analytical, at times critical, Virgo field of space moves into opposition to watery, mystical Neptune in the watery, mystical sign of Pisces. There can be some feeling of vulnerability and a test of one’s ability to over-rely on your established ideals and standards to guide you through these emotional waters.
It is also an opportunity to surrender your mental criticalness within the balm of unconditional love and forgiveness.This is a rather challenging and poignant aspect for the first Presidential debate being held tonight!
4 – Jupiter has been chugging along expanding the mental boundaries of Gemini intelligence and communications. But on this day he stands still and starts to appear to move backwards, perhaps digesting and assessing all of the ramifications of the night before.
5 – Mercury conjuncts Saturn in Libra, a last chance for Saturnian commitment of Mercurial thinking and communication to Libran diplomacy and relationship responsibilities, just before Mercury goes into moody, emotional Scorpio until October 29th.
Later on the same day Saturn goes into Scorpio. I sense an intensification of the mood and tenor of our communications but still with a Saturnian need for authoritative restriction and discipline.
After that Mercury harmonizes with Neptune in Pisces, so some healing compassion and faith is available as well.
6 – Mars moves out of emotional passionate Scorpio into energetic, honest, at times fanatical, Sagittarius until November 17.
7 – Mars in the early degrees of that feisty Sagittarian energy squares the watery Neptune in Pisces. There can be a threatening, dissolving of our activations of our most inspiring belief systems, but so as to make sure that we are not ego-driven and are really trusting/serving a Higher Power.
8 – The Sun in Libra harmonizes with Jupiter in Gemini. This should help to move into a broader, more expansive understanding and communication in all relationships which should help greatly with whatever turmoil arrived the day before.
9 – Yesterday was the start of a few days of harmony between several planets.
On this day Venus in Virgo harmonizes with Pluto in Capricorn so we can look deeply into where our affectional standards come from love and where they come from fear.
10 – Mercury in Scorpio harmonizes with Pluto in Capricorn. Now the deep emotional qualities of our thoughts and communications can submit to the same deep Plutonian love or fear questioning.
Saturn in Scorpio harmonizes with Neptune in Pisces, now serious engagement with hidden passions and emotions can open to a greater trust and faith and forgiveness to aid in that serious engagement.
15 – The harmonious trend continues with Mars in Sagittarius harmonizing with Uranus in Aries. A good time to trust your intuition and willful engagement of your will energies in a surprising unconventional manner to allow the passionate need to further your beliefs and your truths to find a way of actualizing.
This occurs just before the Sun/Moon New Moon conjunction in Libra. Before the start of the next Lunar cycle on November 13th, the U.S. and the world, should know who our Presidential (Libran) partner will be for the next four years.
16 – Mercury in Scorpio harmonizes with Venus in Virgo. A little passion to keep from being too critical and idealistic, and a little analytical discipline to keep from being too passionate.
22 – The Sun goes from Libra into the month of Scorpio. Now we have to feel all of those secret, hidden feelings in need of regeneration.
23 – In the early degrees of Scorpio the Sun harmonizes with Neptune in Pisces, deep emotional feelings can be felt and healed with the help of Neptunian trust, faith and compassion, especially through altered states of consciousness and creative imagination.
25 – The Sun conjuncts Saturn in Scorpio, a reality check and responsible discipline towards those deep subterranean emotions. Mercury in Scorpio harmonizes again with Venus in Virgo. (See October 16)
28 – This day starts with Mars in Sagittarius opposing Jupiter in Gemini, danger of some fanatical over the top’ engagements around beliefs and communications.
Mercury goes into Sagittarius later in the day (until Nov. 14) adding to the energized honesty (be careful of ‘foot in mouth disease’). Fortunately on this same day Venus moves into one of the signs she rules, Libra, a Natal chart indicator of an eventual happy marriage or partnership.
29 – Mercury in early Sagittarius squares Neptune in Pisces so we might become aware of who is a victim and who was a victimizer from he day before.
Shortly afterwards we have the Sun in Scorpio/Moon in Taurus Full Moon opposition. The challenging clash of emotional passions and material desires forcing us to look for what love is.
30 – The Sun in Scorpio harmonizes with Pluto in Capricorn. No matter how confronting/challenging was the day before, today we are aware of growing and being better people for it.
