Starwise Astrological Forecast
for January 2012(All specific times given are for Eastern Time)
We enter the New Year with a waxing Moon.
Days of Month
7 – We have only fast-moving Lunar aspects until the 7th when Mercury in Sagittarius harmonizes with both Saturn in Libra and Neptune in Aquarius, an ideal time to understand, learn, communicate an enthusiastic dedication towards a grounded in reality spiritual, compassionate, creative/imaginative ideal.
8 – Mercury in Capricorn in tension with Uranus in Aries, definitely be careful of rash, impulsive, overly serious communications that could prove harmful, or get overly carried away by a sudden unique insight.
9 – The Moon in Cancer opposite Sun in Capricorn Full Moon, our lunar instinctual emotional needs seeking integration with our, at time, oppositional, conscious concrete goals and aspirations.
12 – Sun in Capricorn harmonious with Mars in Virgo, a good time to confidently put practical, concrete goals into action and manifestation.
13 – Venus conjuncts Neptune and harmonizes with Saturn, an excellent time for emotional, relational commitments calling for unconditional love.
Mercury conjuncts Pluto in the middle of the above aspects, so we can mentally ponder profoundly all of the ensuing ramifications.
14 –Venus then goes from airy Aquarius into watery, emotional Pisces and on this day harmonizes with Jupiter in Taurus, a good day to feel that all is right with the world, materially and emotionally.
19 – Sun in Capricorn in tension with Saturn in Libra. Conscious goals and ambitions perhaps at odds with previous commitments in relationships, in need of compromise and integration.
20 – The Sun goes from earthy Capricorn into airy, humanitarian Aquarius.
Venus in Pisces harmonizes with Pluto in Capricorn, maybe some healthy emotional sensitivity allowed a comfortable resonance with the current transformation of our material world.
21 – Sun in Aquarius harmonizes with the ruler of Aquarius, namely Uranus. Some new surprise freedom toward humanitarian goals or unconventional unique expression.
23 – Sun/Moon Aquarius New Moon conjunction, continuing themes from the 21st with a deeper conscious/unconscious integration of Aquarian idealism being the theme of the next Lunar month.
Mercury in Capricorn harmonizes with Mars in Virgo as Mars stands still and starts to go backwards. A good time for mental contemplation of what re-working must be done until Mars turns direct on June 19th, around the time of the first Pluto/Uranus square.
27 – Mercury in serious Capricorn tensions with Serious Saturn, Capricorn’s ruler, but the furrowed brow tension should lighten up as Mercury slips into airy, more detached Aquarius later in the day.
28 – Mercury opens to heightened intuition and surprise freedom as he harmonizes with Uranus, but then Mercury will be in tension with Jupiter in Taurus so our material/financial needs and desires may be challenged by this new freedom, or get exaggerratively pumped-up.
