Starwise Astrological Forecast
for June 2012(All specific times given are for Eastern Time)
Dear Friends and Clients,
The overshadowing Astrological event this month is the long-anticipated first of seven Uranus/Pluto squares starting this year through 2015.
This deserves its own newsletter, which will be coming shortly. In the meantime here is what else will be happening Astrologically this month:
We enter into June with a waxing Moon peaking on the 4th with the Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse.
Days of Month
1 – Mercury conjuncts Venus in Gemini, a great time to communicate your feelings, or bring emotional engagement into your mental creations.
3 – Mercury harmonizes with Saturn. A good time to dedicate, commit, and be responsible in your communications verbally or in print form.
4 – This is a powerful day. There is the Full Moon Sun/Moon opposition in Gemini/Sagittarius, furthering an emphasis on challenging your thoughts and communications to be aligned with your deeper philosophical beliefs, with a further intensification of that emphasis by the Moon being eclipsed, i.e. a death rebirth ‘rebooting’ of these themes and energies. Of course where this falls in your individual chart shows where this death/rebirth energies will be active.
Later in the day Neptune stands still and then starts to move backwards in Pisces. On the day that an outer planet ‘stations’ we have the opportunity to go more deeply into the energies and presence of that planet. With Neptune that bears qualities of unconditional love and spirituality and imagination, or confusion, escapism and victimhood. Neptune will be going back over previous collective emotional and spiritual vulnerabilities until November 11th, days after the US Presidential election, the dawning of a new round of collective emotional and spiritual vulnerabilities.
A few hours after the Neptune station Venus in Gemini squares Mars in Virgo, so a potential of emotional, critical frustrations with the practical details, perhaps serving as a ‘pressure release’ from the previously mentioned deeper, underlying challenges of the day.
5 – Sun conjunct Venus in Gemini, so an ability to align and communicate clearly in a newly empowered way our emotional needs and ideals.
7 – Mercury goes from Gemini, an air sign which it rules and is therefore very comfortable there, into Cancer, a sign which can have a difficult emotional effect upon our Mercurial thinking and communications. Mercury will be in Cancer until the 26th.
Sun squares Mars, a Gemini/Virgo analytical, edgy mental tension. Be careful with what you say later in the day.
8 – Mercury in Cancer harmonizes with Neptune in Pisces, so even though the thinking might not be so clear, that can perhaps help it to surrender to a deeper spiritual, imaginative, non-rational healing quality.
11 – Last quarter Sun/Moon Square.
Jupiter moves from earthy Taurus into airy Gemini, so more enthusiasm, optimism expansiveness into the mental realm.
However, Mercury, the ruling planet of Gemini will square Uranus and oppose Pluto on this day as well, so the weak inadequacies of overly emotionally affected Mercurial thinking at odds with the intense collective transformation/revolutions going on at this time will be apparent.
13 = Sun in Gemini harmonizes with Saturn in Libra, a stabilizing; grounding, committed responsibility in our communications and relationships is available here.
19 – The Sun/Moon, New Moon conjunction in Gemini comes a couple days after the Greek election on the 17th and days before the Pluto/Uranus Square. We know that, no matter what, these days are not likely to be harmonious and pretty, but at least here there is a new mental communicational beginning. At least now Europe and the world as affected by Europe will know what they are dealing with.
20 – Mercury in Cancer squares Saturn in Libra, so that mental/emotional quandary of Mercury in Cancer feeling restricted, perhaps resentful of the limitations of relational responsibilities.
The Summer Solstice, Sun moving from Gemini into the watery home-loving, start of summer sign of Cancer, giving us the longest day (Northern Hemisphere).
Venus in Gemini harmonizes with Uranus in Aries later in the day/evening, a great time to play with emotional freedom and spontaneity, indeed a good time for a ‘Midsummer’s Night Dream.’
21 – Mercury in Cancer harmonizes with Mars in Virgo; some passionate engagement with service and details can quell mental/emotional quandaries.
23 – Sun in caring, nurturing Cancer harmonizes with Neptune in compassionate, sensitive Pisces, a good time to feel the faith and compassion as the biggies clash on the next day.
24 – The peak of the first of seven Pluto/Uranus squares. Pluto is retrograde now, so it is likely to coincide with intensification of transformations already being scrutinized, i.e. the Euro Zone, Syria etc. More on this in the next newsletter.
25 – Jupiter in airy/mental Gemini squares Neptune in watery/emotional Pisces, so the potential for some exaggerated communications stimulated by feelings of victimhood, requiring all the Jupiterian benevolence and Neptunian compassion we can muster.
Saturn stands still in Libra, turning direct; finally his energy for getting real and for commitments in alignment with responsibilities can break new ground and make things happen.
Mercury goes from emotional Cancer into proud, fiery Leo, until September 1st.
27 – Venus in Gemini stands still going direct, so our emotional feelings and responses can ‘break new ground’ as well.
29 – A recurring theme during these years of the Pluto/Uranus squares will be the fact that whenever a fast-moving inner planet makes a hard aspect to Pluto or Uranus it will be hitting the other at the same time.
On this day it will be the Sun in Cancer opposing Pluto in Capricorn and squaring Uranus in Aries. The Cancer attachment to domestic security and family/national identity will be sorely challenged by the underworld structural challenges (Pluto) and the feisty, impulsive revolutionary Uranian impulses for new freedoms.
In between Mercury in proud, creative Leo will be in harmony with mentally enthusiastic Jupiter in Gemini. Look for the right statesman, within and/or without to show up.
