Sandy and the Starwise Astrological Forecast
for April 2013(All specific times given are for Eastern Time)
Dear Friends & Clients,
I apologize again for the tardiness of this month’s newsletter. I just arrived in Hong Kong yesterday and I was super busy the last days I was in Beijing before that. Travel blogs will be following.
We enter April with a waning Moon until the New Moon on the 10th.
Days of Month
6 – Venus conjuncts Mars in Aries. Emotions, actions, passions, ambitions all feeling energy to spare.
10 – The Sun/Moon New Moon in Aries conjunction. Now a day to really align your conscious and unconscious with whatever courageous goals and ambitions you want to manifest this year.
12 – Pluto stations turning retrograde, so going back over whatever deep psychological material he has been bringing to the surface over recent months.
13 – Mercury moves from watery Pisces into fiery Aries, joining the Sun, Venus and Mars already in Aries. Now we can really say what we think, want and feel.
15 – Tax day in the U.S. and Venus goes into earthy, material and sometimes financial Taurus. Somehow fitting.
17 – The Sun conjuncts Mars in Aries. A great day to be courageous, just remember some compassionate discipline.
18 – Venus in Taurus, a sign it rules, harmonizes with Neptune in Pisces, the sign it rules. A great time for emotionally attuned faith, trust, love, tangibly expressed.
19 – The Sun follows Venus into the month of Taurus.
20 – Mars goes from fiery Aries into earthy Taurus. Mercury conjuncts Uranus in Aries. Heightened dynamic intuitions. Unconventional, liberating expressions.
21 – Mercury in Aries squares Pluto in Capricorn. The inspired feistiness of our thoughts and communications having to reconcile with the deep transformative forces within the deeper levels of our psyche. Could reveal hidden secrets, or face very humbling discipline, or recognize where one has gone ‘out of their depth.’
22- Earth Day Venus in Taurus opposes Saturn in Scorpio. Seems somehow fitting. The emotionally sensitive Venus in Taurean earth at odds with the Saturnian limitations and restrictions of our Scorpionic desires. It evokes for me a sense of how our economic, material desires are largely at odds with our emotional sensitivity to the material state of the Earth. But not much faith that we can do anything to change it. The first step is getting real with the problems. This is a good day for that.
23 – Mercury in Aries harmonizes with Jupiter in Gemini, optimistic, enthusiastic expressions and communications of expansive visions are possible.
24, 25, 26 – Continuing on the positive energies of the day before we have two more positive planetary aspects on the 24th. Venus in Taurus harmonizes with Pluto in Capricorn. Comfortable, emotional resonance with deep transformation of the profound structures of our lives within and without. Later the Sun in Taurus harmonizes with Neptune in Pisces and on the 26th Mars in Taurus harmonizes with Neptune in Pisces. So that Taurean earth energy, but ruled by Venus, can resonate through our conscious identity: Sun, and our passion: Mars, with Neptunian unconditional love, imagination, faith and surrender.
In the middle, on the 25th, the Sun/Moon Taurus/Scorpio Full Moon opposition occurs. Nice to have that positively resonating Neptune around as this tension peaks.
28/30 – The Sun in Taurus opposes Saturn in Scorpio. Mars in Taurus opposes Saturn on the 30th. So all this month we’ve had Taurus planets feeling good with Neptune but being confronted, limited, disciplined by Saturn. Mars in Taurus can be overindulgent in sensuality. Saturn in Scorpio can be restrictive of sexuality. Some stress, but proper discipline may be in order.
